Shrunken Heads is a grotesque and haunting art project that delves into the twisted history of tsantsa. Tsantsa translates to, the shrunken head of an enemy kept as a trophy, among the Shuar subgroup of the Jivaro people of Ecuador. Each delicate and macabre piece tells a story of indigenous tribes who practiced the ritual of headhunting and meticulously crafting miniature, preserved heads as gruesome trophies of war.
